Team (CDT) - ITAM
The Centre of Technological Development at ITAM is mainly composed by engineering specialist. The Centre is run by four associate directors:
Dr. Miguel de Lascurain (Director of Business Processes)
Dr. Omar Romero Hernández (Director of the Energy and the Environment Area)
Dr. Alfredo Weitzenfield (Director of Robotics and Software Engineering Area)
Dr. Sergio Romero Hernández (Director of Advance Design, Manufacturing and Production Process)
The Centre is potentially enhanced by more than 30 full time professor and researchers from the School of Engineering at ITAM and its three Academic Departments: Computing, Telematics and Industrial Engineering and Operations. The research and consultancy offer is ample, rogorous and internationally renowed. Most of our researchers undertook postgraduate courses and are member of the National Research System (SNI) in Mexico.
Another competitive advantage of this Centre is represented by its ability to integrate members from other academic departaments at ITAM or at other research Centres worldwide.
Solutions developed at the Centre
take into account the multidisciplinary nature associated with most
of current problems in the company. As such, solution developed by the
Centre frecuently integrate knowledge of various engineering fields
and other areas of knowledge such as Management and Finances.
